We refuse to accept that. As an approved 501(c)(3) charity, our mission is to open a bakery that doesn’t just produce amazing breads and pastries, but also kneads out hidden talents—shaping confidence, purpose, and hope for adults with Down syndrome who deserve the same life and dignity as everyone else.

Only 3% or fewer of adults with Down syndrome hold full-time employment. That means the other 97% are watching the world move on without them—friends finding careers, coworkers bonding over lunch, families growing—while they sit at home, wondering, “When will it be my turn?”
The lack of meaningful work and a place to belong chips away at their sense of self-worth. Day after day, many are stuck in front of the TV, wishing they could be part of something bigger.
With the right training and support, these individuals can flourish. All they need is a welcoming space to learn, grow, and show the world what they’re truly capable of.
